Apples and Honey Sangria

Apples and Honey Sangria
  • 1 bottle dry red wine 

  • 1 crisp red apple (Fiji or honey crisp) diced 

  • 1 Granny Smith apple diced 

  • 1 orange sliced into thin slices 

  • ¼ cup brandy 

  • ½ cup sugar 

  • ½ cup honey 

  • 1 cup boiling water 

  • 3-4 cinnamon sticks 

  • ½ cup pomegranate seeds 

  • Seltzer 

  • Ice 


Instructions:

  1. In a bowl mix the sugar, honey water and cinnamon sticks. Allow the sugar to dissolve. Set aside for at least 30 minutes to steep. 

  2. In a large pitcher add the wine, fruit and brandy. Add in your honey cinnamon syrup and stir to mix. 

  3. Chill until ready to serve. Top with seltzer and ice.
