Steak for a Crowd
Marinade:
3 -4 cloves garlic, grated
Juice of lemon
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon spicy brown mustard
¼ cup oil
Salt and pepper to taste
2-3 sprigs fresh rosemary
Steaks of choice:
London broil, rib steak, sandwich steak, minute steak (up to 8 lbs)
Mix all ingredients in a bag or container and add your steaks. Allow to marinate for 30 minutes or up to 8 hours.
Fire up your grill to the highest setting and allow it to preheat for 10 minutes. Start with your largest steak or London broil. Place the steak on the grill and sear on each side for 1-1.5 minutes. While searing the steak, lower the flame on the other side of the grille to medium-low. Move the London Broil to the cooler side of the grill and cook for 4-6 minutes per side or until an internal thermometer reaches 135F (for medium)
You can follow the same process with a rib steak. Which will likely need about 3-4 minutes per side, depending on thickness.
Follow with your minute steak which should only need about 2 minutes per side on the hot side of the grill.
And then your sandwich steak which needs about 1 minute per side, also on the hot side of the grill.
Start with the steak that is the thickest and work your way down so it will all be ready at the same time.
Allow the meat to rest for 10 minutes before slicing, sprinkling with salt and serving.
