Broccoli and Cheese Pockets
2 cups frozen chopped broccoli
2 cubes frozen grated garlic or 2 cloves
1 cube package Dorot frozen parsley cubes or ¼ cup fresh
¼ cup grated parmesan or pecorino romano
2 - 15 oz containers whole milk ricotta
2 cups shredded cheese
1 egg
1 teaspoon salt
2 packages frozen malawach
Oil for frying
Instructions:
In a large bowl, mix the first 8 ingredients. Scoop about ¼ cup of the mixture and place it into the center of a malawach. Pinch the ends closed.
In a large frying pan coated with a little oil, fry about 4-5 minutes per side on medium flame or until golden. Serve warm.
